Atropos and Mnemosyne – a poem about memory loss

AtroposHis same question,

my same answer,

again and again.

I’m aware this should probably be Atropos and Clotho, but Mnemosyne seemed more appropriate.

He was diagnosed with Alzheimer. Observing him over time this seemed a fair description of the progress of his illness as regards his short-term memory. It doesn’t reflect the initial strength of his long-term memory though.
